Briefly teaching during the Oklahoma teacher crisis, Dalton knows that strong schools build strong communities. He’ll prioritize recruiting and retaining teachers, improving curriculum standards, and ending policies that siphon funding from public classrooms. Every child — urban or rural — deserves access to a world-class education.

Oklahomans work hard and deserve an economy that works for them. Dalton supports raising the minimum wage to a livable level, protecting workplace rights, and supporting small businesses that create jobs in our communities, not just large corporations and lobbyists.

Dalton supports maintaining a fair, progressive tax structure and balancing fiscal responsibility with compassion. He believes in using data-driven budgeting to fund what works — education, healthcare, infrastructure — while eliminating waste and political pet projects.

Dalton believes in a justice system that focuses on prevention, rehabilitation, and results — not headlines. He’ll work with law enforcement, social services, and community leaders to address the root causes of crime such as addiction and mental health, instead of pushing sensational legislation that does nothing to keep Oklahomans safe.
